Dan Dan? Noodle Sauce (Cold or Warm)

 This sauce is great for cold or warm noodle dishes. Sometimes we have it more like a salad with rice noodles and veggies like cucumber, carrot and green onion. Sometimes we like it warm with crispy fried pork (impossible meat or tofu for vegetarian nights) and braised greens like spinach, bok choy or broccoli and then topped with crushed peanuts, green onion, cilantro and lime. It’s super versatile and super delicious.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp sesame oil

  • 2 tbsp tahini

  • 1 tbsp smooth peanut butter

  • 3 1/2 tbsp soya sauce or tamari

  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar

  • 1/2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp finely grate ginger

  • 2 tsp minced garlic

  • chili garlic sauce to taste

Method

Whisk together tahini and peanut butter until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and mix until fully blended and creamy.
